Clubs and Pubs
One of the great british institutions has to be the Pub.
Pubs are found in the smallest villages as well as the largest
cities and there is nothing quite like good pub grub. Real
ale, cloudy cider, guiness and proper whiskey can only be
found in pubs, a lot of which specialize in certain drinks
or breweries. Socializing in the pub is how a lot of us
met our partners and spouses, enjoyed our first gigs and
met a lot of our friends. On a Sunday there is nothing better
than sitting down to a pub lunch with a refreshing pint
of Bitter.
Perhaps you’re more into the night life and club
scene though? Clubs these days are open nightly and cater
for all different tastes of music. Everything from Pop,
R’n’B and Hip hop to more underground genres
like dubstep, breakcore and industrial. Most big acts these
days are usually playing in a club somewhere, rather than
a function room or stadium. It can often be hard finding
out where to go on a night out, but there are a number of
websites that give good descriptions and listings of nights
run by the respective clubs, usually with some sort of search
function so that you can filter out the things you don’t
like and find what you’re looking for quickly and
easily.
